Carleton "Carly" Fiorina

The Senior Financial Adviser to the John McCain Campaign made the Sunday Talk Show rounds today to defend the campaign of John McCain and their choice of Sarah Palin as the Vice Presidential Nominee. This is the same John McCain Campaign Adviser that was the the CEO of Hewlitt-Packard, and on the morning cable show, "Morning Joe" on MSNBC said that the price of gasoline doesn't affect the economy much. Ms. Fiorina received over 21 Million Dollars when she was asked to resign from Hewlitt-Packard, so gasoline at a few dollars a gallon would not have much affect on her economic life, but it certainly does on a $10 an hour worker. Of course multi-millionaires like Ms. Fiorina and Senator McCain would have no idea what it is like to support yourself or your family on $10 per hour. John McCain even stated that middle class is someone who makes 5 million dollars a year. Of course when your senior economic adviser made 21 million dollars in compensation for leaving a company, it would seem to reason that a middle class person would make 5 million dollars a year.

Ms. Fiorina stated that the Obama campaign was the campaign that started the negative ads, with their commercial about McCain saying that he would stay in Iraq for 100 years. As the moderator tried to ask why that is negative when it was in fact a statement that Senator McCain had made, she answered that that was absurd , that Senator McCain did not really mean a hundred years. So that leave the electorate to decide on the meaning of John McCain words. We all heard the quote, you can pull it up, he specially said that it did not matter if we stayed in Iraq for a hundred years. As with all the comments made by McCain they are subject to revision and denials when they no longer fir the circumstances.

Just as the McCain/Palin Republican ticket supports the Administration of George W, Bush and denies it, so too they deny that Senator McCain is one of the biggest recipients of lobbyists largess. One has to wonder why would a 72 year old man seek the Presidency when he cares so little about the Country that he would nominate Sarah Palin to be next in line for the Presidency, a woman who the McCain campaign felt was more qualified than any other Republican to be the Vice Presidential nominee for the Republican Party. The ranks of the Republican Party must be thinning out if Sarah Palin is the most qualified candidate that they have to run. In her speeches and in the McCain speeches and thew Campaign double speak they keep insisting that she is qualified to be the leader of the Free World, that she has more experience than Senator Obama, but they fail to mention that Seantor Obama has already received over 18 million votes to be the Presidential Nominee, while Ms. Palin has only received the 40 votes from the ministers that met at Focus on the Family and told John McCain that Ms, Plain would be the nominee if he expected the support of the Christian Right.

"Maybe 100," McCain replied."As long as Americans are not being injured or harmed or wounded or killed, it's fine with me and I hope it would be fine with you if we maintain a presence in a very volatile part of the world where al Qaeda is training, recruiting, equipping and motivating people every single day."

Was there any al Queda in Iraq before the Republican Bush Cheney Invasion John McCain?
