Where Did the Money Go?

Image
As George Bush and the Secretary of Treasury continue to push for a "Bailout" they have begun to play the typical Republican language game. They have now started referring to the "Bailout" as a "rescue", as if it is not the same. Now that the vote in the House of Representatives has failed, the politicians are hitting the airwaves casting blame upon each other for the mess that we are in financially. The Republicans as usual are blaming the Clinton Administration. The Democrats are blaming the deregulation by the Republicans. Although the oversight issues and the regulatory issues are easy to see, none of them are blaming the real culprit in this financial meltdown. The Fiscal Policies of The George Bush Administration and the Iraq War are the reasons that America is in the current financial quagmire. Since the Bush Administration has come into power they have steadily guided the economy along the edge of a recession which began in the first year of the Bu...

Al-Queda Objectives

Image
The Republican Bush Administration has claimed that the invasion of Iraq has protected the American People from Terrorist attack. One of the favorite lines they currently use to justify the invasion of Iraq is that "we must fight them over there, so we don't have to fight them here". It seems as if the Republican Bush/Cheney Administration has failed to watch the playing field, just as they failed to see the imminent attack of 9/11 even after repeated warnings from various intelligence agencies which summarized their finding in the Daily Presidential Briefing. Just as the Mujaheddin was able to facilitate the Soviet Empire falling into financial ruin, so too is Al-Queda now accomplishing the same thing in The United States. The Stated Strategies of Al-Queda in defeating their perceived enemies are: 1. Overwhelm the enemy 2. Strangle the enemy financially 3. Have the Enemy fight Amongst themselves 4. Stretch the Enemy thin These strategies were applied by the Mujaheddin in...

The Republican Spiral

The Republican Party under the leadership of G.W. Bush and their presumptive Presidential nominee appear to be spiraling downward and cannot keep their vengeance, hatred and fear mongering beneath the surface. This week saw the President bring partisan American politics overseas where he gave a speech distorting the Democratic Policy of negotiating with sovereign governments. Mr. Bush chooses to say that the policy is to negotiate with terrorist, and McCain took up the mantra and repeated the same thing. There is a big difference between negating with a terrorist group and a government elected by the people being governed. This is a difference that the Bush Administration could not distinguish when they decided to invade Iraq. President Bush also paid a visit to his kissing buddies the Saudi Royals who told him no more oil production their profit margin is just right, thank you. Nineteen of the twenty-one 9/11 hijackers were from Saudi Arabia, yet the Bush Administration decided to inv...
